We will coordinate an appointment time to place your appliances (braces, expander, headgear, etc.) which usually takes from one-and-a-half to two-and-a-half hours.
Regularly scheduled appointments are an important part of orthodontic treatment. We will see you at regular intervals of 9-12 weeks to check your progress and make adjustments to your appliance. It is also extremely important that you maintain your regular dental check-ups with your family dentist every 6 months during your orthodontic treatment.
Once the braces are removed, retainers will be made. Your retainers are designed to settle your teeth in their correct positions until your bones, gums, and muscles adjust to the change. The retention phase of your treatment is very important in maintaining your beautiful smile for a lifetime.
